Introduction:

The digital world is about content, not medium. And it’s about content that is consumed differently to traditional media. While it requires a very different mindset to traditional media production, there are many disciplines a traditional journalist working in print or broadcast can take into the new world.

The principle disciplines are about recognising and telling a good story. However, to be successful in the digital world, journalists and editors need to be skilled-up to tell stories in a totally new way.

The ADU is a non-governmental organization established in 1976, currently with 122 members. These are distributors, business publishing media, and corporate communications press companies, representing all 21 Arab countries.

The aim of this conference is to show how media companies in Francophone Africa can develop by taking advantage of the experiences that have been achieved in major French newspapers.

The conference is open only to players in the Maghreb press and particularly to CEOs, Editors, Development managers, Project managers, and Human Resources directors.
